“LA is the loneliest and most brutal of American cities”
— Jack Kerouac said that — I started my career after USC as the The Ralph’s Fresh Fare Specialist — paid by the case — my 250 case Christmas tree became famous in Westwood California.
I worked for Peter Koff MW before joining The Henry Wine Group. I apprenticed for Peter Neptune MS where I became a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers.
I joined Barter House — a boutique importer — we worked harder than the big swinging distributors — sourced hidden gem wines from all over the world and placed them on the top wine lists all over New York. Vinfolio brought me to San Francisco where I currently serve as Consulting Sommelier for the Pacific-Union Club.
I was born in Pepper Pike — I grew up in Salt Lake City.
Salt and Pepper. All work and no play makes Elizabeth a dull girl. I grew up ski racing but I didn’t like what it was doing to my body so I switched to ballet. I was a good ballerina — still am. I’m the middle in a collection of 3 girls and a boy.
